Maryland REALTORS® Standing Committees

Public Policy

Description

Develops Maryland REALTORS® policy on issues impacting the practice of real estate, homeownership, and housing supply and affordability in both the legislative and regulatory arenas. The Committee recommends future legislative initiatives for adoption by the Executive Committee. It is composed of brokers, office managers and active practitioners who are knowledgeable on developments in the real estate industry and state housing market.

Meetings

The Committee generally meets on the first Thursday of the month in June, August and November. It will also meet in late April following the close of the General Assembly Session. Meetings are usually 2 hours in length.

Members may attend in person or via conference call.
